LVMH has appointed Yann Musquin as general manager of fragrance brands effective August 3, the company announced Thursday. He succeeds Romain Spitzer, who led the division for the past decade and was named chief executive at Bottega Veneta on July 15.
Musquin has been at LVMH for 18 years, most recently as chief brand officer at Givenchy Parfums and Beauty since December 2024. Previously, he held marketing roles at Parfums Christian Dior, overseeing the development of fragrance launches including Sauvage, before becoming fragrance and beauty director at Louis Vuitton.
He will oversee the division’s strategic direction, with responsibility for strengthening the positioning of Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums and expanding the group’s broader portfolio.
Musquin will report to Véronique Courtois, president and chief executive of Parfums Christian Dior and LVMH’s beauty division, who succeeded Stéphane Rinderknech earlier this year. Announcing the appointment, Courtois cited Musquin’s fragrance expertise, creative vision and deep knowledge of the LVMH ecosystem as key competencies for the role.
