The department store will begin hosting a series of livestreaming events, where store employees or brand partners will showcase certain products on video. Customers who tune in can then purchase those products in real time.

The virtual events allow shoppers to engage with the hosts and ask questions about the featured products. The first event on March 18 is a virtual styling tutorial on Burberry runway looks with stylist José Ramón Reyes. Other upcoming livestreams will feature Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury.

Nordstrom has already hosted more than 50 virtual events since last year. The Livestream Shopping channel formalises the retailer’s commitment to digital customer offerings.
