British footwear label Duke + Dexter has appointed Connor Boon as its new creative director.
He will oversee creative strategy across product, campaigns and brand storytelling in the role, the company announced Tuesday. Boon, who has been at the company for seven years after joining as an intern, has helped shape the company’s creative identity during his tenure, working on both campaigns and product.
He is credited with designing the brand’s best-selling Wilde penny loafer. The brand said Boon will be responsible for continuing to develop Duke + Dexter’s footwear while extending its reach into categories such as apparel and formal wear as it seeks to become a full lifestyle label.
“We’ll continue to push the boundaries of footwear innovation, expand our seasonal apparel collections and strengthen partnerships with the world’s leading wholesale retailers,” Boon said in a statement.
