Cathy Horyn Returns
Former longtime New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn has announced her return to the industry after a year away, joining the staff of New York Magazine's The Cut. Beginning with coverage of the Fall 2015 collection this February, Horyn will act as the publication's critic-at-large. The celebrated journalist held a 15-year-long career at the newspaper, but resigned from her role last February to care for her partner, the late Art Ortenberg.
Reed Krakoff Steps Down as CEO
Reed Krakoff has stepped down as chief executive of his eponymous label, with A/X Armani Exchange's president and CEO Harlan Bratcher to replace him immediately. Bratcher will join the board of directors and take over duties formerly held by Krakoff, who continues as creative director. Krakoff was appointed CEO last February following the departure of its president and CEO Valérie Hermann, who went to Ralph Lauren.
Nasty Gal Names CEO
Online retailer Nasty Gal has named Sheree Waterson as its new CEO, effective immediately. Former chief executive Sophia Amoruso, 30, will become executive chair and continue to oversee the creative and brand marketing aspects of the company. Waterson, previously the company's president and chief product officer, joined the Los Angeles-based retailer last year, after five years at Vancouver-based yogawear label Lululemon.

ModCloth CEO Exits
E-commerce fashion site ModCloth's co-founder Eric Koger is exiting his role as CEO, handing the position to Matthew A. Kaness, effective January 19. Kaness, who will also join the board, spent over seven years at Urban Outfitters, where he served as chief strategy officer. ModCloth was founded by Eric and Susan Koger, who remains the brand's chief creative officer, in 2002.
Grazia Editor Joins Telegraph
Grazia's editor-in-chief Jane Bruton is leaving after ten years at the publication to join the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph as director of lifestyle and deputy editor. In her new role, she will oversee magazines, features, fashion, luxury and beauty. Bruton's start date at the Telegraph and her replacement at Grazia has not yet been confirmed.
