Now regarded as one of the leading lights of British menswear, the designer founded his eponymous brand before LC:M, when there were few menswear designers showing on the catwalks and the London showrooms were yet to be established. Today, the James Long brand is stocked in Browns, Harvey Nichols, H Lorenzo and a number of other influential international retailers.
