The nine-piece collection, which includes makeup, skin care and a fragrance, will sell on Chanel’s website and will also be available at Ulta.

The line’s key ingredient is red camellia, a flower that Chanel scientists have been studying over the last ten years. The use of its extract, oils, seeds and yeasts in its new beauty products “support skin vitality, thereby enabling skin to remain healthy looking for a longer period of time,” according to a release from Chanel.

The new line has been made in eco-packaging that use about 80 percent recycled materials, and items like Chanel’s glass jarred moisturisers can be refilled. The No. 1 line is Chanel’s first foray into clean beauty.
