American Apparel Reports 3Q Loss

American Apparel Inc. on Monday reported a loss of $25.6 million in its third quarter.

LOS ANGELES, United States — American Apparel Inc. on Monday reported a loss of $25.6 million in its third quarter.

The Los Angeles-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 18 cents per share.

The casual clothing chain posted revenue of $126.1 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit 1 cent. A year ago, they were trading at 89 cents.
