Founded in 2017 by former Tatler editor Pip Durell, WNU was born out of the desire to create the perfect everyday shirt for women.  WNU was inspired by men's tailoring, adjusted for women, emphasizing simplicity and timeless style.

Today, we have 3 stores in the U.K with further expansion plans in the pipeline.

OUR VISION

We founded WNU to create a collection of high quality, everyday essentials - starting with the perfect shirt. Inspired by men’s tailoring, British heritage and timeless style.

WNU was founded in 2017 out of our founders need for shirts that were perfectly  adjusted for women, sustainably sourced and stood the test of time.

WNU is all about simplicity, pared back, laid back, timeless, effortless clothing - just like the woman who wears them and the icons that inspired them: jane Birkin, Carolyn Besette and Charlotte Rampling.

Our pieces are not about trends or fleeting style moments, but instead an essential wardrobe in which to live a life.

“To be worn effortlessly, without thought, or anything underneath’ - written by our founder in her notebook back in 2017”
