Zhang Linghe

Zhang Linghe’s television success has made him one of luxury’s most in-demand celebrity ambassadors in China. The heartthrob has converted mass-market appeal into a growing portfolio of global and regional fashion partnerships, securing an expanded remit with Gucci Beauty following his appointment as a Gucci brand ambassador. In early 2026, he also joined Bulgari as a brand ambassador. His other partnerships include Chopard, Roger Vivier, Puma and Taobao Flash Sale. His commercial pull extends into fashion publishing, with Zhang fronting major women’s titles including, in 2026, Elle China and Marie Claire China, the latter in a Gucci-backed issue that sold more than 114,000 copies within five minutes, as well as multiple men’s titles over the years including GQ, Elle Men, Another Man and Harper's Bazaar Men.

Born in Wuxi, Zhang built a large regional audience after appearing in the hit drama Love Between Fairy and Devil and taking leading roles in series including My Journey to You, Story of Kunning Palace and Pursuit of Jade. His broadcast projects have generated strong viewing figures: within six days of launch, Pursuit of Jade surpassed 10,000 on iQiyi’s popularity index and went on to become the first Chinese television series to enter Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 for non-English shows. In 2025, Zhang received a string of industry honours, including Weibo’s Most Popular Actor, iQiyi’s Actor of the Year for Audience Appeal, Tencent Video’s Most Charismatic Artist of the Year and a style award from Harper’s Bazaar China. By 2026, he had amassed more than 19 million followers on Weibo alongside 5 million on Instagram. Zhang studied electrical engineering at Nanjing Normal University before transitioning to full-time acting.
