Yasmina El-Abd is an Egyptian-Swiss actor. The rising star, known for bringing a modern perspective to thoughtful performances, has been tapped by Dior as the central face of the brand’s push into the Middle East. She was named a brand ambassador for the French luxury house across ready-to-wear, haute jewellery and beauty in 2026, a rare three division appointment.
El-Abd gained widespread regional recognition in 2022, starring as Zeina in the Netflix Arabic drama series “Finding Ola.” She’s also known internationally for roles including Safiya in the fantasy series “Theodosia,” which is broadcast by HBO Max, BBC and ZDF. Her film appearances include “Daughters of Abdulrahman” and the musical “Sukkar,” which cemented her presence on film festival red carpets.
Currently based between London and Cairo, El-Abd was born in 2006 to Egyptian parents in Geneva, Switzerland. She moved to Dubai at age 11, where she began training and performing in acting, singing and dance.
