Tariq Fancy is the founder and chief executive of The Rumie Initiative, an ed-tech non-profit organisation developing micro-learning programmes accessible via mobile devicesacross more than 200 countries. Fancy has previously served as the chief investment officerfor sustainable investing at investment management company Black Rock, where he was responsible for integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations across investment activities.
Tariq holds an honours BA with distinction from Brown University, an MBA from INSEAD,and a Master's in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris. He has featured in The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Economist, and the Financial Times, among others.
