Founder & Creative Director, Rebecca Vallance

The designer has propelled her label to meaningful growth beyond her native Australia to find success in North America and Europe.

Rebecca Vallance

Rebecca Vallance is the founder and creative director of Rebecca Vallance, grown from a domestic Australian fashion label into a globally distributed occasionwear brand.

Vallance founded the brand in London in 2011, with a background in modeling, business studies and public relations. She debuted her first 50-piece collection in Paris, securing an immediate wholesale order with Harvey Nichols. In 2014, Vallance presented her Autumn/Winter runway collection, titled Lady's Man, at New York Fashion Week.

By 2024, international markets accounted for almost half of sales, with a strong presence in North America and Europe, with stockists including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter, Mytheresa, Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Galeries Lafayette.

In 2023, she created business-class sleepwear for Qantas' New York route. The next year, the carrier appointed Vallance to design its global staff uniforms for rollout in 2027, marking her entry into menswear.

She was awarded the People's Choice Award at the Australian Fashion Laureate in 2022 and Designer of the Year at the Marie Claire Australia Women of the Year Awards in 2023.
