The Belgian designer has become one of the most discussed young designer names in Paris, known for subverting wardrobe staples by making them transformable.

Marie Adam-Leenaerdt is founder and creative director of her namesake label, known for subverting wardrobe staples by making them transformable and multifunctional. Her signature pieces include reconstructed tailoring and outerwear, including coats engineered to convert into tote bags and skirts formed from inverted shirts. Based in Brussels and Paris, her label was founded in 2023 and joined the official Paris Fashion Week calendar starting in its second season.
Adam-Leenaerdt graduated in 2020 from the fashion design department at Brussels visual arts institution ENSAV La Cambre. She gained experience working in the design teams at Balenciaga and Givenchy.
Adam-Leenaerdt has earned significant industry recognition. After reaching the finals of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers and the ANDAM Fashion Awards in 2024, Adam-Leenaerdt won the ANDAM Grand Prize in 2026, winning €300,000 and a one-year mentorship from AMI Paris founder Alexandre Mattiussi. The same year, she also became the inaugural recipient of the €35,000 WBDM Fashion Programme grant to expand international operations.
