Lucy Bridge

Makeup Artist

The British makeup artist, known for her subversive club kid-inspired looks and work with Tim Walker, became Tom Ford's first global artistry ambassador under creative director Haider Ackermann.

Lucy Bridge

Lucy Bridge is a British makeup artist and was appointed Tom Ford’s first global makeup artist in October 2025, when she began collaborating with creative director Haider Ackermann for his Spring/Summer 2026 runway presentation in Paris, introducing signature glossy lip finishes and bold graphic eye looks.

Bridge studied makeup, hair and wig making in Manchester before relocating to London. She worked in retail at MAC Cosmetics before transitioning to full-time freelance makeup artistry in 2009, building her early editorial network through connections with East London club scene photographers, stylists and designers. That same year, photographer Tim Walker discovered her on a London bus, which led to her featuring in an i-D Chanel editorial, resulting in a 15-year creative partnership.

Known for using paint brushes rather than traditional makeup brushes to execute technical looks with bold lines and vivid colours, Bridge served as the key makeup artist for Walker's guest-edited solo issue of i-D in 2017. Between 2017 and 2024, she was the lead makeup artist for designer Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, crafting theatrical, avant-garde runway face paint and beauty concepts. She has directed runway beauty and editorial makeup for luxury houses including Dries van Noten, Kenzo and Jil Sander.
