Julie Kegels
Founder & Creative Director, Julie Kegels
The Antwerp designer has built one of fashion’s most closely watched young labels with a womenswear offering that’s sharply tailored yet infused with emotion.

Julie Kegels is the founder and creative director of her namesake womenswear label. The Antwerp-based designer earned a place on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar in 2024, presenting a technical womenswear vocabulary rooted in subverted school-uniform codes, trompe-l'oeil prints and split dual-front tailoring. Kegels trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, graduating in 2021 with a collection inspired by feminist artist Judy Chicago's installation "The Dinner Party". Following her studies, she honed her atelier and design experience at French luxury house Alaïa and with independent Belgian designer Meryll Rogge. Kegels launched her label in 2024, growing her wholesale footprint through partnerships with luxury Swiss boutique Tasoni.
Kegels won the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers in September 2026, receiving a €400,000 endowment and a one-year mentorship from LVMH specialists.
