Charles Wang

Charles Wang is the co-founder of multibrand concept store Dongliang. He is recognised for shaping China’s independent fashion ecosystem and helping develop the country’s young emerging designers.

Alongside his business partners, Wang launched Dongliang as a multibrand boutique in Beijing in 2009. At a time when most Chinese consumers favoured established European luxury houses, Wang championed local independent designers who possessed a distinct, contemporary voice.
