Neighbour is the Gastown boutique that turned Vancouver into an unlikely address for curated menswear, opened in 2011 by Parsons graduate Saager Dilawri and his partner Karyna Schultz. Working from a fabric-first, anti-trend philosophy, Dilawri and Schultz — who leads womenswear buying — were among the first in Canada to carry labels such as Our Legacy, Auralee, Lemaire and a young Bode. The store has earned a devoted international following and a reputation as a champion of slow fashion.
