Kering Names Sabina Belli Italy Chief and New CEOs for Pomellato and DoDo

MILAN — Kering has appointed veteran luxury executive Sabina Belli president of Kering in Italy, the latest move from chief executive Luca de Meo as he seeks to steer the French luxury group out of a prolonged slump.

Belli, who has been chief executive of Pomellato since joining Kering in 2015, will be tasked with shoring up the group’s relations with Italian public institutions and industry associations from her base in Milan. She will report to de Meo, Kering said on Tuesday.

The group also named Charlotte Fournet CEO of Pomellato, and Krizia Cucurachi CEO of DoDo, tapping insiders to lead the jewellery labels. Fournet has held merchandising roles at Saint Laurent, Gucci and Bottega Veneta, while Cucurachi joined DoDo in 2024 as global product and brand director after more than a decade at Swarovski.

The moves are part of a broader reshaping of Kering since de Meo took over as chief executive a year ago. The former Renault boss has been tasked with reviving a group confronting a prolonged downturn in luxury spending that has hit Gucci particularly hard.

He put the group’s operating chief Jean-Marc Duplaix in charge of the jewellery activity in March, with an eye to bulking up operations in one of the luxury industry’s stronger performing categories.

More than a quarter of Kering’s global workforce is based Italy, which is home to most of the group’s brands and their manufacturing facilities.

“Italy occupies a unique place in Kering’s history, identity and future,” de Meo said

Belli previously worked at advertising firm WPP as well as L’Oréal and LVMH, including labels Christian Dior Parfums, Moët Hennessy, Veuve Clicquot and Bulgari.

The appointments will be effective on Sept. 15.
